Director Frank Oz wanted to introduce 37 actors and crew members at the beginning of his award winning film 'Death At A Funeral' without overlapping the live action, without being boring and without using humour, a seemingly impossible task.

Finn Brandt says: "We suggested creating a sequence which would explain the journey of the coffin before we see it carried out of the hearse in the first scene of the film, thus adding to the story without interfering with it.

Composer Murray Gold was commissioned to create original music which would converge beautifully with the visuals and give the opening a subtle and wry sense of humour anticipating this hilarious film.
